PORT FAIRY FOLK FESTIVAL - 2014 (as 'The folksinger & the poette' with Carol Reffold - Jill & Carol were the Winners of the 2013 Rick Merrigan Award (A paid gig at the Port Fairy Folk Festival - given by the Geelong Folk Music CLub)
JOHN O'BRIEN FESTIVAL - 2013 'The Folk Singer & the Poette' performed as part of the main program at Narandera - wowing audiences with their unique music and poetry combination including humour and also meaningful songs and poems which tugged at the heart strings (Jill also took out the Busking Award at the same Festival in 2007 - winning a MATON Guitar)

*MUSIC CAFE* - St Johns Anglican Church Brown St Portarlington - Sat 20th August 2016 - Jill performed in the ambient setting of the new Music Cafe along with a Celloist and 'Crossfire Duo'. An enjoyable night for all!
*Making Waves Music & Poetry Arvo* - Jill hosted & organized this wonderful Open Mic show in the Bellarine region for a total of six years. Jill felt very glad to have done this show and enjoyed meeting people and enjoyed lots
of support from people and the whole experience of diversity and culture, including her choir of singers 'Love'n'light' which Jill directed for 6 years as well! Jill is also now hosting a new show called 'Jill Meehan & friends' Open Mic which involves people playing and singing music and also storytellers and poets too! *JILL MEEHAN performed at the 'Psychic Supper' held at the Grovedale Community Centre Heyers Rd Geelong 30th sept! It was a great night! JILL played her 'Reverie Harp' and entertained the audiences with relaxing original music and covers.

*OCTOBER WAS A BUSY MONTH FOR JILL MEEHAN - Musical Theatre Productions and performances throughout Central VIC left her feeling inspired! JILL performed with Carol Reffold 4th OCtober at Clarkfield Hotel 'Spirit of the outback'
during the VIC Seniors Festival, also 6th October at Clarkfield Hotel 'Shannon come home' a Musical Theatre Production about the plight of the Aussie Farmers with the cast - Tim Sheed (Shannon) Christine Middleton (Narrator/Musician/Singer Songwriter). The cast hope to take the show further afield one day in the near future. Also raising money and awareness for 'Beyond Blue' audiences were spell bound by the meaningful vocals and poems music and story telling.
*JILL MEEHAN Directed & Performed with the Cast of 'Shannon come home' in Clarkfield/Benala/Bendigo/Geelong. Jill also judged song competitions and performed at the VIC Bush Poetry and Music Festival in Benala Oct 7th til Sun 9th Oct. All in all a positive inspiring month!
*SUN 16th OCT - 'Music 2 the Max' was a great success at the Max Hotel in Gerringhap st Geelong, 5pm - 9pm live music from Jill Meehan/Ian Zierk(Southern Light) Crossfire Duo/Sheridan Billings Mike Whittle!
*Sat 29th October - 'Jill Meehan & Friends' began, a fantastic circle of musicians poets and singers! Held monthly on the Last Sat of every month, at the Eastern Hub Cnr Mckillop st and Humble St Geelong the show is a wonderful relaxing friendly environment encouraging people to perform or to be an audience!
